I still don’t get it. TOM PETTY is no more. He passed away. Only 66. Rest in peace, legend. I’m just listening over and over again right now to this amazing cracker Anything That’s Rock ‘n’ Roll. I was a teenager back then (1977) when I bought this single from his debut LP with The Heartbreakers. The first Petty song I ever heard and I loved it instantly…


And I went to see the band playing in Brussels in 1977, one of their first European concerts, when they played as support act for Nils Lofgren. A gang of swirling young rockers…
