If you haven’t listened to Mozes and the Firstborn yet, your in for a treat. It’s like Dylan meets Beck, meets the sound of Burger Records. This is excellent , what I enjoy the most is the fact that after two listens , you’ll be singing along. I think sometimes people lose sight of the fact that’s it’s okay to make a song that could be played on the radio , if they had hip DJ’s. They have already worked with Burger Records on the White Light White Heat remake, which I will include here. These Guys, they got skills…
Hi our name is….
Mozes and the Firstborn
And our sound might be best described as….
Grungy garage pop. Garunge pop, if you like…
Melle (vocals/guitar), Raven (drums), Corto (bass) en Ernst (guitar)
We are originally from…..
Eindhoven, The Netherlands
The first time we met was…..
Three and a half years ago, when Raven and I were introduced to each other by our current tour manager. I’ve known Corto for six years; we used to be in high school together. Ernst is a local punkrock legend. He’s been around for ages…
We knew we were going to be a Band when………
Raven and I first met. We played for a couple of hours and decided then and there to become bigger than U2. The rest is just a matter of time and a little bit of effort, I guess…
Before starting the band we were employed as…….
Garbage men, street sweepers, construction workers. Salt of the earth, basically.
The first song we wrote was…….
Looking for love in all the wrong places.
What we are currently listening to….
Psyched Up Janis, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Beatles and Wipers.
For fun we like to…..
Play music, every once in while.
The one thing we want you to remember while your listening to us……
That we are all extremely good-looking.
A whole lot of energetic live shows
