Minneapolis bred Night Moves are out today with the second single from their upcoming album, Pennied Days. Like most of Night Moves’ work, “Carl Sagan” is a cosmic country ditty with lush instrumentation and layered production. It’s Neil Young meets Ziggy Stardust. This song feels incredibly timeless in that it’s both catchy and smart, but completely lacks a finite decade or genre for comparison.
