The High Learys are a four piece rhythm and blues band from Perth, Australia consisting of members Jamie Turner (lead vocals/bass), Michael Nutt (organ/harmonica/vocals), Matt Williams (lead guitar) and Adrian MacMillan (drums). Forming in 2011 the band have taken influence from artists such as Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Slim Harpo, The Rolling Stones, The Zombies, The Hollies, The Standells, The Bee Gees, The Animals, The Yardbirds and The Kinks.
In December 2012 the band recorded their 10 track debut album Here Come The High Learys at Poons Head Studios in Fremantle, Western Australia with producer Rob Grant. The album was released on May 22nd 2013 through German distribution label Soundflat Records on 12″ vinyl and by December that year it had reached the highest selling album on the label for the year 2013.
The album includes 9 original compositions with one cover version of Sticks And Stones which was written by Titus Turner and originally recorded by Ray Charles in 1960.
In 2013 the band signed an endorsement with Vox Amplification Australia

In October 2013 the band embarked on a European tour. The band played shows throughout Italy ,Spain, France, Germany and England
