Record of the Day: The Beach Boys 20/20 (1969)

I woke up a year older this morning and decided there was only one album for me to post today — one I’ve been listening to on repeat on and off forever, one with some of my favorite, most under-appreciated songs on it, a gem straight out of 1969: The Beach Boys’ 20/20.

Beach Boys’ original mono records can be pricey, though I tend to think they’re worth it, *if* you can find one in good shape that isn’t ridiculously overpriced. I picked up this record as a 1974 reissue, a two-record set packaged with Wild Honey, another excellent Beach Boys album. I’m not a collector, I listen to my records daily, so I’m always happy to find a bargain, and listening quality is of top importance. Two Beach Boys records for the price of one was something I just couldn’t pass up.

Listening to the Beach Boys makes me happy, and I hope it does the same for you guys.
