Quick Hit From the Vault: Flash and the Pan

Flash-and-The-Pan

Way back in 1979 – an amazing year for music – the debut album by Australian New Wavers – Flash and the Pan was on high rotation in my house. Flash and the Pan were essentially a studio project of Harry Vanda and George Young from 60s Australian rockers The Easybeats and put out six records between 1979-1992, toying with modest success. Both Vanda and Young are likewise known for writing and producing acts such as AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, and The Angels.

George’s brothers Angus and Malcolm Young are also accomplished musicians 😉
