Psycho Sundae Reviews

Hope you enjoyed today’s show….here’s a taster of some of the songs we played, with some mini reviews of albums he’s particularly enjoyed quite recently.  If you aren’t already following us, this will give you an idea of the kind of stuff we love to share…. @PsychoSundae on Twitter

Os Noctambulos – Song for Oliver
Anglo-French band based in Paris, this track’s from their brilliant Garage/Psych debut Corsica Gardens. They released a split album prior to this with Plantains (now known as Heaters) and you may also remember lead vocalist Nick Wheeldon from 39th & The Nortons and The Jesus Loves Heroin Band. Corsica Gardens is a must for all modern day Garage/Psych heads.
Flight Reactions – Running Out of Mind
Swedish Garage/Psych band consists of members from The Crimson Shadows, The Giljateens and Les Artyfacts.  This track is from their self-titled masterpiece, a timeless classic which will definitely gain new Garage/Psych followers with every passing year.
The Ugly Beats-Throw Me A Line
This was originally released as a single back in 2011 but also made its way onto 2014’s Brand New Day. When I first played this album I was instantly addicted – in fact so much so after the first play this was the only album I played for a full week. This band of Garage Rockers are from Austin, Texas and you may see Guitarist/Vocalist Joe Emery also performing with The Soulphonics, while bassist Jason Gentry is also known for his exploits back in the day with Texan Surf Rockers Sir Finks….ENJOY!
