Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers – “All By Myself” L.A.M.F.

“All by Myself” is one of the many delights on the iconic Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers L.A.M.F. Walter Lure sings lead on this sexy playful tune about sneakin’ off to a quiet corner somewhere to be with the one you really fancy. Waldo’s hot for someone special and he’s through with small talk. Time to make a move, get her alone and get to know her better. And he brought enough dope for two–get in there, Waldo!  It’s a joy to hear what a well-oiled machine The Heartbreakers sound like on this, so alive and so tight. Dig Johnny’s Dollsy hammer-ons around the 1:51 mark, as well.  You can also check out my review if you’re keen for more of my thoughts on L.A.M.F.
