Put them together and you’ve hooked me. These guys should get booked at The Austin Psyche Fest, fans of The Black Angels are going to love ,listen and buy some records from The Black Delta Movement. So if any of you movers and shakers out there are tuning in, listen to these guys , and once you know that they’ll be a hit at the Psyche Fest get in touch with Ruby Music and get these guys booked. You can thank me later….

Hi our name is…. The Black Delta Movement And our sound might be best described as…. Psychedelic Garage

We are… Matt Burr, Dominic Abbott, Liam Kerman, Jack Brown

We are originally from….. Kingston Upon Hull

The first time we met was….. Various times and places! Me (Matt) and Dom went to college together, me and Jack played in another band together and Liam used to go to school with Dom.

We knew we were going to be a Band when……… Our old bands split up! Really though, for me, it was once we turned up to the first practice. It clicked instantly.

Before starting the band we were employed as……. We’ve all done a few different jobs, we all still work as well – it funds what we’re doing! Liam and Jack are also still at Uni doing music.

The first song we wrote was……. It was either Rome or Butterfly, we’ve played the latter at every single gig we’ve done together apart from maybe one when our set got cut short.

It’s about…… Rome was about my old band splitting up and how it was all a bit of a shambles. It could be about anything falling apart though really. Butterfly is basically about giving up on someone and all of their bullshit. (Am I allowed to swear?!)

What we are currently listening to…. I’ve been listening to all sorts lately, a lot of stuff I’ve never listened to before, like Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Drenge, Pond and Rodriguez. I had a couple of record binges in Leeds and London so I’ve had plenty to keep me occupied!

For fun we like to….. Go for a few drinks, see bands etc etc.

The one thing we want you to remember while your listening to us…… That’s a good one! I’m not sure what we want people to remember actually – remember to think “man, I need to show my friends this band!”

Expect….. A lot more shows, hopefully in your city! Also we’ll be working on a lot of new material for more releases. We wanna hit the 200th gig mark by the end of the year! From us in 2014
