DEAP VALLY- Smile More from Second Album Femijism

“Smile More” from the second album Femijism by duo rockers Deap Vally is our video of the day.deap valley This song makes me want to slink around with an evil grin/scowl, Julie Edwards’ drum beats taking over my brain and the voice of Lindsey Troy becoming my conscience. The album was released last fall, mid-September via Nevada Music, produced by Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner and has since been on heavy rotation in my presence.

Deap Vally seems to show up on every single playlist that I create myself or that seems to be sent curated for me by friends, the good people at Spotify and other places. I can’t get away from them even if I so desired, but I don’t. Their songs have a way of roping me in and making me feel stronger for it. Femijism finds the California rockers more confident and capable in their voice and sound. Not that they really give a shit. They are not doing this for you or me or anyone else, their don’t give a damn attitude making you crave more.

Deap Vally will be playing some festivals this year so catch them rocking it out on stage if you can starting later this month. Check out their website and like them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
