Amyl and the Sniffers – Big Attraction *Album of the Week*

Straddling’ the line between raucous 70s glam punk and the primitive pub rock riffs of Rose Tattoo, Sydney’s Amyl and the Sniffers are a true DIY story.

Formed in February of 2016 they released their first EP the same month and are being hailed as a fresh breath of Sharpie Rock.

Their second EP, Big Attraction was released this past February, so we’re a bit late on it, but who cares? This is wicked, so crank it up.

Amy Taylor – Vocals
Dec Martens – Guitar
Bryce Wilson – Drums
Fergus Romer – Bass

Domestic now, but spent early to late 80s playing drums in a hair metal band in Toronto. Since then I’ve lost the hair and have found new ways to scratch the rock and roll itch.

  • Guys, this “I’m not a loser” is a pure gem.
it could have been released in the 70’s and it would have been the same

and I can tell you that after listening to it on repeat for the last hour, it is still a fuckin’ good track !
