awesome stuff, and a very cool album to start your week off with the right tracks….

from their bandcamp:

They came from nowhere. Where they are going no one knows. They worship the weird, revere the rejected. Reverb is a way of life. The garage is a sanctuary and asylum. This is cinematic lo-fi retro instrumental drive-in blood surf rock and roll. View in black and white only. Remain in your seats until the movie film is over. We are not responsible for the safety of bad boys and girls who disobey.
This is the latest communique from thee Imperial Royales. It started with one song of the blackest Death-Surf, unannounced in an internet graveyard. When no one was looking, another song was added. Then another. Soon the story emerges, but will you understand in time to save yourself? Wig out to the throbbing tremolo guitars as wet echo and pounding spirit drums pull you through the sycamore trees toward certain doom. It’s Autumn and the moon is orange and black. There’s something out in the trees, and you are all alone. It’s Dark.

Thee Imperial Royales are influenced by Joe Meek, Frankie Stein and His Ghouls, The Ventures, David Lynch, Ennio Morricone, Link Wray, John Carpenter, Samhain, Davie Allan and the Arrows, Al Casey, Eddie And The Showmen, The Damned, Dick Dale, Duane Eddy, 45 Grave, Sarcofago, Santo & Johnny, Darkthrone, The Ghastly Ones, Christian Death, The Belairs, Joy Division, The Shadows, Uncle Acid, The Messer Chups, The Jesus And Mary Chain, The Sisters Of Mercy, Danny Elfman, Radio Birdman, The Chantays, Kip Tyler, John Waters, and the Cramps.
